Owen Miller

Owen M. Miller, 89, of Lubbock died Thursday, October 10, 2002. Graveside service will be at 11:00 AM Monday, October 14, 2002 at Dreamland Cemetery with Rev. David Lowrie, Pastor of the First Baptist Church of Canyon, officiating. Owen M. Miller was born February 21, 1913 to Gus Theodore and Lula Davis Miller in Happy, Texas. He graduated from Canyon High School. He married Marie Price November 2, 1935 in Canyon. She preceded him in death in 1971. He was employed by SPS in Plainview and Lubbock before his retirement. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Plainview. Survivors include two daughters, Sandy Jones, of Houston and Peggy Frye, of Lubbock; one son, Stan Miller, of Lubbock; seven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
