Oscar Schuette

Oscar H. Schuette, 77, of Denver, Colorado and Canyon, Texas, died on October 5, 2002. A graveside service and burial will take place at St. Paul Lutheran Cemetery at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 12, 2002. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. to noon at Brooks Funeral Directors of Canyon. Mr. Schuette was born in Canyon, Texas on June 12, 1925 to Frederich and Gesine Wichmann Schuette. He received his bachelors and masters degrees from West Texas State University and his Doctorate from the University of Denver. He was Professor of Business Education and Business Communications at Metro State College from 1969 until his retirement in 1992. His mother, father, stepmother, brother, and nephew preceded him in death. Survivors include 3 sisters, 3 nieces, and 2 nephews. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be sent to St. John's Lutheran Church, 700 South Franklin Street, Denver, CO 80209.
