Nunzio Cogliandro

Nunzio J. Cogliandro, Jr., 68, of Canyon passed away on Wednesday, February 20, 2019 in Amarillo.  Graveside services will be at 2:00 P.M. on Monday, February 25, 2019 at Dreamland Cemetery.  The family will receive friends on Sunday, February 24, 2019 at Brooks Chapel from 3:00 to 5:00 P.M. Nunzio was born on July 15, 1950 in Japan to Nunzio Joseph Cogliandro, Sr. and Susie Wakashro Cogliandro.  He received his bachelor's degree in business from West Texas State University and worked for Xcel Energy at Tolk Station for more than thirty years. Nunzio was a car enthusiast and really enjoyed trying his hand at technology.  He also loved spending time with his granddaughters.  He was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include his son, Ricky Cogliandro and wife, Lori; his daughter, Laura Cogliandro; two granddaughters, Kara and Avery; a sister, Catherine; two brothers, Antonio M. and wife, Maritza, and Michael; and many nieces and nephews.
