Nora Lyn was born May 26, 2016 in Amarillo to Casey and Kelsey Williams. Nora's name means "light," and she truly was-on the good days at home, and even more so on the difficult days she spent fighting cancer. Nora had beautiful blue eyes and a smile that melted us. She was the mirror image of her daddy, with her mother's perfect little mouth and dark hair. Although she was small, she was fierce, and her courageous fight against something so much bigger than she was, has inspired her family, her doctors, her nurses, and total strangers. She changed us all, forever. It seems we only knew her for a moment, she showed us everything she was. Nora was and always will be a light, a shining picture of grace, courage, and the powerful love of Christ. She is survived by her parents, Casey and Kelsey Williams; grandparents, Jeff and Jami Williams of Post, Barry and Meri Lyn Odell of Canyon; great grandparents, Linda Odell of Levelland, Nelda Hill of Colorado City; Aunts and Uncles, Billy and Laci Talerico of Lubbock, Derek Odell of Fort Worth; Cousins, Elliot and Jack Talerico and Liam Odell. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials to your local Ronald McDonald House or to donate blood or platelets in Nora's name.
