December 31, 1969 — February 23, 2011

Services will be at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, February 26, 2011 at the Palo Duro Baptist Church in Wildorado with Dr. Ron Muller, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Palo Duro Wildorado Cemetery. Neva June Rea was born on November 9, 1931 to David Ellison "Elza" and Dovie Tate Lugwig. She graduated from Ava High School in Ava, Missouri. She married Robert "Earl" Rea on August 28, 1954 in Bushland, Texas. She was a wonderful homemaker and took great pride in her cooking. She enjoyed crafts and crocheting, was a great seamstress and was always actively involved with harvest. She was a member of Palo Duro Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School for many years, and was also a member of Extension Homemakers. Neva was proud of her grandchildren and great grandchildren and supported them in all their sporting events. She was preceded in death by her parents and three sisters, Juanita Bristol, Betty Bristow, and Sally Hill. Survivors include her husband, Robert "Earl" Rea; one son, Gary Rea and wife, Cindy, of Wildorado; one daughter, Dawna Kim Rea Foster, of Wildorado; two grandsons, Chris Rea and wife, Mandy, of Amarillo and Cody Rea and fiancee Laura Rice, of Perrysburg, OH; one granddaughter, Cami Rea Maberry and husband, Daniel, of Mansfield; two great grandsons, Layne and Ethan Rea, of Amarillo; one great granddaughter, Ryan Maberry, of Mansfield, and two great granddaughters on the way; and two sisters, Bertha Hill, of Longview, WA, and Opal Lee Southards, of Bradleyville, MO. The family suggests memorials to Palo Duro Baptist Church Activity Fund, 5704 FM 809, Wildorado, Texas 79098.
