Nettie Platt

Memorial services will be at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, October 19, 2010 at The Summit with Kenny Price officiating. Burial will be at 10:00 A.M. on Tuesday at Dreamland Cemetery. Nettie Marie Platt was born on February 12, 1925 in Canyon, Texas to Ernest and Lillie Mae Coats Prichard. She married Thomas D. Platt in Clovis, N.M. and he preceded her in death on December 15, 1998. She was a member of First Baptist Church. She was a homemaker and her family was her life, especially her grandchildren and great grandsons. Survivors include two daughters, Shirly Clayton and husband, Ewing, and Kathie Robinson, all of Canyon; one son, Tommy Joe Platt and wife, Pat, of Canyon; six grandchildren, Monty Platt, Melissa Mosley, Kip Clayton, Shandy Robinson, Trent Robinson, and Tully Robinson; and five great grandsons.
