Services will be at 10:00 A.M. Saturday, January 26, 2013 at Brooks Chapel with Rev. Gene Jones, officiating. Graveside services will be 3:00 P.M. Saturday, January 26, 2013 at Muleshoe Memorial Park Cemetery in Muleshoe, Texas. Nellie Mae Bostick Henry was born February 14, 1913 in Oklahoma. She grew up in a family of two boys and nine girls. In 1929, she married Clyde Henry and their family consisted of five boys and two girls. Nell and Clyde moved from Oklahoma to Texas in 1937. They lived in Becton, Muleshoe, and Austin and retired in Canyon. Clyde preceded her in death in 2005. She was also preceded in death by her children, Eugene, Shirley, Earl, and Doyle. In previous years, Nell was active in the Baptist Church, serving as President of the WMU at one time. She also enjoyed canning, raising flowers, and caring for her numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. Her surviving children are Johnny Ralph (J.R.) Henry, of Canyon, Kenneth Henry, of Muleshoe, TX, and Edith Henry Goss, of Lewisville, TX; she is also survived by her sisters, Ruby Friend, of Seligman, MO, and Jessica Wilmeth, of Grandbury, TX. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Hospice Care of the Southwest, 6600 Killgore Dr. Ste. 110, Amarillo, TX 79106; Canyon Healthcare, 15 Hospital Drive, Canyon, TX 79015; or to the First Baptist Church of Canyon, 1717 4th Avenue, Canyon, TX 79015.
