December 31, 1969 — February 8, 2011

Services will be at 1:00 P.M. on Saturday, February 12, 2011 at the University Church of Christ, with Dr. David Lough minister and Mike Borger, Son-In-Law, officiating. Burial will be at Dreamland Cemetery Myrtis Cattaneo was born on January 21, 1925 to Lewis and Maude Broom in Avoca, Texas where she lived until she was three years old. She then moved to Amarillo, Texas, where she graduated from Amarillo High School in 1942. She then attended Flemings Business School. She worked at the Pantex Ordinance Plant and Panhandle Fruit Company, where she met Paul Cattaneo. They married on February 27, 1954. This month they would have celebrated their 57th anniversary together. She was an accomplished seamstress, and made all of the clothes for herself and her young daughter. She was a faithful member of the University Church of Christ, and will be missed by all who loved her. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lewis and Maude Broom; sisters, Geneva McNeill and Mildred Berryman. Survivors include her husband, Paul Cattaneo; Daughter, Lyna Borger, and husband Mike; Son, Mike Cattaneo, and wife Donna; Grandchildren, Lacey Jones, and husband Mitch, Tanner Borger and Chance Borger; Great Grandchildren, Carter and Beckett Jones. The family suggests donations be made to the High Plains Children"s Home, PO Box 7448 Amarillo, Texas 79114.
