Mildred Mickey

Graveside services will be 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, December 23 at the Channing Cemetery with Rev. Bobby Miller, officiating. Mildred was born January 16, 1928 to Olin Washer and Ethel Hargis in Achille, Oklahoma. She grew up in Channing, Texas. On April 18, 1957, she married Bob Mickey in Amarillo. He preceded her in death in 2010. Mildred was witty, loved the Lord, enjoyed watching television and reading her Bible and she loved to talk. She was also preceded in death by her mother, Ethel Hunnicutt; father, Lew Hunnicutt; daughter, LouAnne Northcutt; and a brother, Bob Hunnicutt. Survivors include her son, Kelley Mickey, of Canyon; daughter, Robin Ferro, of Dallas; two grandchildren, Jay Northcutt, of Royce City, Matt Northcutt, of Duncanville; and five great grandchildren.
