Mildred Hill

Services will be 2:00 P.M. on Tuesday, December 12, 2006 at Brooks Chapel with Rev. Bob Miller, pastor of South Georgia Baptist Church, and Rev. Robert Field, officiating. Burial will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery. Mildred Joy Hill was born on July 27, 1924 to Dan and Willie Hefley in Shamrock, Texas. She graduated from Wheeler High School. Mildred married Wade H. Hill, Jr. on November 16, 1951 at the First Baptist Church in Amarillo. She was a resident of Amarillo for 65 years. Mildred was a homemaker that loved to cook. She was a member of South Georgia Baptist. She was preceded in death by her son Jerry Walter Hill in 1982, brother, D.W. Hefley in 2000, and her husband in 2004 Survivors include her daughters, Brenda Howard and husband, Les of Amarillo and Cindy Williams ofLewisville, TX; grandchildren Cary Howard and wife, Kristen of Houston, Craig Howard of Abilene, Christopher Williams of Lewisville, Texas, and Kelly Williams of Lewisville, Texas; sisters, Marjorie Wallace of Amarillo, Anna V. Kelly of Waco, and Mary Helen Kelly of Moody, TX; brother, Jerry Dan Hefley of Wheeler; and sister-in-law, Marian Hefley of Canyon.
