Michael J. Walsh, 86, of Canyon passed away on Thursday, June 4, 2020. Memorial Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 A.M. on Thursday, June 18, 2020 at St. Ann's Catholic Church with Father Scott Raef officiating. Visitation will be on Wednesday, June 17, 2020 at Brooks Chapel from 6:00 to 6:30 followed by a vigil at 6:30.
Michael J. Walsh was born on September 30, 1933 in Galway, Ireland to Thomas and Ellen Walsh. He received his Master of Science and was self-employed in construction. He married M. Joleen Schilling in 1981 in Forest City, AR. Michael was a longtime member of St. Ann's Catholic Church, ACLU, and Amnesty International.
Michael was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Tom Walsh and Bill Walsh. Survivors include his wife, M. Joleen Walsh of Canyon; his brother, Jack Walsh of Ireland; and nieces and nephews.
