Memorial service will be at 10:00 A.M. on Tuesday, November 10, 2015 at Wayside Community Church. Memory Lee Gillham Thomas was born on June 6, 1926 in Wayside to Memory Loyse and Bonnie Adams Gillham, one of thirteen children. She married Maxwell Luther Thomas on June 25, 1950 in Snoqualmie, Washington. Memory majored in Home Economics which she used to be a good homemaker. She taught for eleven years. They adopted two children, Marynel, when she was five days old, and Nathan, when he was seven days old, and they both graduated from Walla Walla College in Washington State. She was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Gillham, two brothers, John Gillham and Chapman Gillham, and a baby. Survivors include her husband, Max Thomas, of Wayside; two children, Marynel Tibbles, of Wayside and Nathan Lowell Thomas, of Wayside; granddaughter, Christy Lee Tibbles, of Cleveland, IL; and nine siblings, Esther Mesnard and husband, Charles of Tulia, Ben Gillham and wife, Byra, of Greeley, Colorado, Olla Gillham, of Wayside, Don Gillham, of Tulia, Dan Gillham and wife, Leona, of Wayside, Edith Gillham, of Claude, Stanley Gillham, and wife, Beulah, of Claude, Chaney Gillham and wife, Corrine, of Bowdon, ND and Laura Edwards, of Wayside.
