Services will be at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, August 30, 2003 First Baptist Church of Happy with Rev. Paul Burwash, pastor, officiating. Graveside services will be in Rule Cemetery, Rule, Texas at 2:00 P.M. on Sunday, August 31, 2003. Maye Allison, of Happy, was born on September 9, 1910 at Winnsboro, Texas to James and Minnie (Worth) Robertson. She lived in Rule and Knox City before coming to the Happy Community in 1945. She was employed in the cafeteria of Happy ISD for seven years and cooked for the Lions Club for fifteen years. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Happy, WMU, Happy Senior Citizens, and RSVP. She was preceded in death by three brothers, Elton Herman Robertson, Timothy Marvin Robertson, and Brice Wilson Robertson, and three sisters, Nola Florence Covey, Lillie Pearl Woods, and Esther Paralee Woods. Survivors include two sisters, Alice Earlene Robertson Self, of Garland, TX, and Ruth Lorrene Robertson Clark, of North Richland Hills, TX; and thirty-eight nephews and nieces. The family suggests memorials be to the First Baptist Church of Happy, 102 N. Western Avenue, Happy, TX 79042.
