Marylou Fernandez

Services will be at 10:00 A.M. on Friday, May 24, 2013 at Brooks Chapel with Bruce Tate and David Rindlisbacher officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. on Thursday, May 23, 2013 at Brooks Chapel. Burial will be in Dreamland Cemetery. Marylou Fernandez was born on June 16, 1948 in Salinas, CA to Pascual and Sara Palacios Vallejo. She was a home healthcare nurse and loved her patients. She enjoyed dancing, reading, and sewing and loved music, animals, and most of all, her grandchildren. Marylou was a member of Latter Day Saints of Canyon. She was preceded in death by a son, Ben Fernandez, her father, Pascual Vallejo, a sister, Maria Escamilla, and a brother, Rudy Vallejo. Survivors include her mother, Sarah Vallejo; a daughter, Tammy Hernandez-Rodriguez; two sons, Richard Fernandez and Johnny Amaya; and six grandchildren, Derek and Hector Hernandez, Benjamin Fernandez, and Shane, Isaiah, and Edyn Amaya. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. on Thursday, May 23, 2013 at Brooks Chapel.
