Marylou Denny

Services will be at 2:00 P.M. Thursday, July 31, 2008 at the First Baptist Church of Canyon with Jim Hancock, officiating. Burial will be at Memory Gardens Cemetery in Amarillo. The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. Wednesday, July 30, 2008 at Brooks Chapel. Marylou was born January 21, 1930 to Chester and Elsie Bollinger Riddle. She married Kenneth Lyle Denny on April 1, 1950. He preceded her in death in 1986. Marylou enjoyed being with her family and friends, especially on game nights. She was an Oklahoma State University basketball fan. Marylou worked at the WalMart in Canyon as a cashier for 15 years, where she loved her job and her customers. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Canyon. Survivors include her daughter, Linda Cintella and husband, Don, of Canyon; two sons, Lyle Denny and wife, Ronda, of Panhandle, Brian Denny and wife, Tonya, of Amarillo; five grandchildren, Nicole Jacobs and husband, Matt, Andrew Cintella, Austin Cintella, Kaleb Denny, and Jacob Denny; and two great grandchildren, Lyndsie Jacobs and Macie Jacobs. The family requests that memorials be sent to Olivia"s Angels and BSA Hospice PO Box 950, Amarillo, TX 79176.
