Services will be at 10:30 A.M. on Friday, September 5, 2003 at St. AnnA???s Catholic Church in Canyon with Rev. Phu Phan, pastor, officiating. Prayer Service will be at 7:00 P.M. on Thursday, September 4, 2003 at Brooks Chapel. Burial will be in St. MaryA???s Catholic Cemetery, Umbarger, Texas. Mrs. Wieck was born on May 22, 1920 in Carson County, Texas to Frank and Clara Detten Grabber. She married Louis J. Wieck at Umbarger in 1971. He preceded her in death on April 3, 2003. She was Director of Medical Records in Hereford and Canyon for many years. She was a member of St. AnnA???s Catholic Church. She was also preceded in death by two sisters, Florence Arndt and Sister Gertrude Grabber. Survivors include one daughter, Janice McFarland, of Cookson, OK; three sons, Melvin Wieck and Fred Wieck, of Canyon, and Robert Wieck, of Amarillo; four sisters, Margaret Bertrand, of St. Francis, TX, Lillian Friemel, of Umbarger, Sister Teresa Grabber, of San Antonio, and Bernice Tintes, of Belgrade, Minn.; four brothers, John Grabber, of Umbarger, Eugene Grabber, of Tavares, FL, Bernard Grabber and Ed Grabber, of Canyon; ten grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. The family suggests memorials be to the Catholic Family Service, PO Box 15127, Amarillo, TX 79105-5127, or to your favorite charity.
