Mary Tuck

Memorial services will be 2:00 P.M. Sunday, January 8, 2017 at Brooks Chapel. Mary Jo was born October 31, 1931 in Hereford to Leonard and Goldie Stayton. She graduated from Hereford High School. In 1958, she married Jack Abernathy. He preceded her in death in 1999. She enjoyed reading and loved to sew. Mary Jo was a loving mother and grandma. She was also preceded in death by her parents and five siblings, Charles, Lorene, Wanelle, Doris, and Leona. Survivors include her daughter, Cathey Decker; three grandchildren, Lisa, Ian, and Caitlyn; one great grandson, Mason; and four siblings, Ouida, Wanda Lou, Betty Jean, and James.
