Louise was born on January 24, 1928 in Long Beach, CA to Myron and Naomi (Banta) Russell. She was the eldest of four children, two brothers, Richard "Dick" Russell and Eugene E. Russell, and one sister, Beverly Perkins Moore, all of which have preceded her in death. Louise truly enjoyed her young life growing up with her siblings. The four Russell kids remained very close knit most all their lives. She was very active in high school. She played the piano, the French horn, and the Baritone horn for both the Jordan High School Marching Band and Orchestra. In her senior year, she was also a drum majorette and baton twirler. She marched in the parades with her brothers in the Sheriff's Boys Band in Long Beach. She married and had her first child, Dale Allen, in 1947, and eight years later she had her daughter, Ruth Louise, in 1955. She worked as a secretary at Douglas Aircraft. In 1966, she moved to Texas and worked for 24 years for Snow White Bakery in Amarillo and gift wrapped at Colbert's during the holidays. After retirement, she worked part-time at The Haven, helping women in recovery. She was an active member of Amarillo's First Family Church. She dearly loved her Lord and savior. She loved everyone and all who knew her loved her as well. Louise was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan and loved Indy 500 races.

Survivors include her son, Dale Allen Davis, wife, Elaine, and their children, Rebecca Neirynck, Deborah Thompson and husband, Aaron, Renee Rodriguez, and David Davis. She is also survived by a daughter, Ruth Louise Pryer, husband, Mike, and their three sons, Sean Pryer and Crystal Bundy, Jeramy Pryer and wife, Crystal, and Morey Pryer and wife, Kymee; and many great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews whom she cherished.
