Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 25, 2006 at 10:00 A.M. at St. Mary"s Catholic Church in Umbarger with Rev. Dr. A. Moses Kallarackal officiating. A rosary will be held at Brooks Chapel on Friday, November 24, 2006 at 7:00 P.M. Burial will be in St. Mary"s Catholic Cemetery in Umbarger. Margaret Helen Schenk was born on November 9, 1932 in Randall County to Eugene and Maria Frische. She married LaVerne "Tuff" Schenk on December 26, 1950 in Scotland, Texas. She was a homemaker and a very loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She was preceded in death by her parents, her step father, Phil Fortin, two brothers, Eugene and Carl Frische, and one sister, Rosalie Grotegut. Survivors include her husband, LaVerne "Tuff" Schenk, of Umbarger; four sons, Louis Schenk and wife, Roxanne, of Canyon, Gene Schenk and wife, Ann, of Wildorado, Kevin Schenk and wife, Denise, of Umbarger, and Roger Schenk and wife, Roxane, of Umbarger; three daughters, Patricia Lott and husband, Glenn, of Columbia, MS, Dianna Donathan and husband, Kenny, of Wildorado, and Mary Reinart and husband, Galen, of Umbarger; thirty grandchildren, twenty-two great grandchildren, and a large extended family. The family suggests memorials be to Catholic Family Service, 200 S. Tyler St., Amarillo, Texas, 79101, or a favorite charity.
