Marcus Dean Parker, 59, of Amarillo, passed away on Saturday, March 13, 2021.
Celebration of life services will be 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday, March 17, 2021 at The Loft Church, 4400 S. Georgia, with Pastor Lela Bigham, officiating.
Marcus Dean Parker was born on October 7, 1961 in Artesia, NM to Omer and Marie Parker. He had one brother, Omer Lee, and two sisters, Debbie and Melody. He graduated from Canyon High School in 1980. After high school he joined the Navy, where he served for 2 years.
At the age of 21, he married the love of his life, Terry. He loved her with everything he had for 38 great years.
Marcus was a strong, kindhearted person. He was always willing to help anybody and everybody with anything they might need. He brought so much love and laughter to those around him and he never knew a stranger.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Omer and Marie Parker, brother, Omer Parker and a sister, Debbie Estes.
He leaves behind his wife, Terry Parker; two daughters, Brandee Blauvelt and husband, Bill, and Marcie Parker; a sister, Melody Parker; grandchildren, Kylan Stout, Koban Parker, Emma Blauvelt and Christopher Parker. He also leaves behind his in laws and many nieces and nephews that he loved very much.
