Maple Wilson

Services will be at 10:00 A.M. on Wednesday, August 13, 2008 at Brooks Chapel with Lynn Camp, of Southwest Church of Christ, officiating. Burial will be in Dreamland Cemetery. Maple Edens Wilson was born on April 20, 1909 in Lily Dale, Tennessee to Ashford Kendrick and Mary Jane Abston Edens. She married John W. Wilson of Canyon on June 3, 1940, in Amarillo. She was a member of Southwest Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, three brothers, Homer Windle Edens, Wilbur Collins (Pat) Edens, and Murl Abston Edens, and a sister, Opal Edens Grimm. Mrs. Wilson is survived by several cousins including Lou French Baker and husband, Elon of Canyon, and many friends. The family suggests memorials be to High Plains Children"s Home, P.O. Box 7448, Amarillo, Texas 79114.
