Madeline Mckinney

Memorial services will be at 10:00 A.M. on Friday, September 19, 2014 at Lincoln Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ray Norris, officiating. Burial will be in Lincoln Memorial Park Cemetery, Lincoln, Nebraska. Madeline Rae McKinney was born on July 11, 1943 in Concordia, Kansas to William and Dorothy Towns. She graduated from Lincoln Northeast High School in 1961 and married Earl 'Butch' McKinney on November 23, 1961 in Lincoln. She worked as Supervisor for Amarillo Pathology Group in Amarillo. Madeline, lovingly referred to as "Aunt Maddie" or "Grandma Maddie", was full of life, love and so much compassion for others and animals. Her giving spirit and love of life will be missed by all those whose lives she touched. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband. Survivors include her daughter, Jami Lynn Jordan, of Canyon; her son, Mark W. McKinney and wife, Nancy, of Canyon; four grandchildren, Dustin Lee Jordan, Dallas Ray Jordan, Dillon James Jordan, and Bethany Ann McKinney; five great grandchildren, Josephina, Christian, Mia, Savannah, and Jakobi; and special friends, Lynda Jones and Ann Powell. The family suggests memorials be to Madeline's favorite charity, Amarillo ASPCA, 3501 S. Osage, Amarillo, TX 79118.
