Lynell Andrews

Ruth "Lynell" Andrews, 81, of Happy died Wednesday, February 1, 2017 in Happy. Services will be at 10:00 A.M. Monday, February 6 at Happy's Memorial Chapel with Rev. Tom Stribling, pastor of the United Methodist Church of Happy, officiating. Burial will be in Happy Cemetery. Mrs. Andrews was a 75 year resident of Happy. She was a member of the United Methodist Church, Order of the Eastern Star, and the Happy Volunteer Fire Department Auxiliary. She retired from West Texas A&M University of Canyon as a communications operator. She was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Billy F. Andrews, in 2013. Survivors include her son, Billy D. Andrews and wife, Ruth of Happy; daughter, Pam Williams and husband, Jimmy of Pampa; brother, Henry N. Knox and wife, Janie of Fort Garland, CO; sister, Lucille Robinson of Canyon; 5 grandchildren; and 9 great-grandchildren. The family suggests memorials be made to the United Methodist Church Building Fund, P.O. Box 56, Happy, TX 79042 or to the Happy Volunteer Fire Department, P.O. Box 216, Happy, TX 79042.
