Lura Mainville

Services will be at 10:00 A.M. on Monday, April 27, 2015 at Living Water Christian Fellowship Church with Shane Nease, pastor, officiating. The family will receive friends from 4:00 to 6:00 P.M. on Sunday, April 26, 2015 at Brooks Chapel. Burial will be in Dreamland Cemetery. Lura Nell Prichard Mainville was born on July 18, 1935 in Canyon to Emmett and Cleo Wells Prichard. She married Omer G. 'Yank' Mainville on April 16, 1954 in Clovis, NM. He preceded her in death on August 3, 2007. Nell was a member of Living Water Christian Fellowship Church and a long time member of the Ladies VFW Auxiliary. She was a regular at Bingo and loved playing games and doing puzzles. She was also preceded in death by a grandson, Casey Coffey. Survivors include three daughters, Tina Foster, of Amarillo, Regina Mitchell and husband, Lowell, and Rita Womack, all of Canyon; seven grandchildren, Rita Nell, Larry Joe, Jr., Jeffery Allen, Rachel Ann, Charles, Jennifer, and Nicci; 19 great grandchildren; 2 great, great grandchildren; one sister, Ruth Allison; and many nieces and nephews. The family suggests memorials be to Living Water Christian Fellowship Building Fund, 10100 W. US Hwy. 60, Canyon, TX 79015.
