Lupe Fetter, 77, of Canyon, passed away on Sunday, April 11, 2021. The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. on Friday, April 16, 2021 at Brooks Chapel in Canyon.
Lupe was born on March 29, 1944 in El Paso, Texas to Felipe and Carmen (Tierres) Minjarez. She was one of twelve children and graduated from Ysleta High School. Lupe married George "Bill" Fetter on November 25, 1965 in El Paso and they were married for 53 years before he preceded her in death on April 26, 2019. Lupe was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan.
Lupe was also preceded in death by eight siblings. Survivors include two children, Mary K. Fetter and Billy Fetter; three siblings; and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
The family suggests memorials be to the Advocacy Center for the Children of El Paso, 1100 E. Cliff Dr., Bldg. D, El Paso, TX 79902-4625.
