Louella Kinney

Services will be at 2:00 p.m., Monday, February 28th, at Brooks Funeral Directors in the Chapel, 1702 5th Avenue, Canyon, Texas, with Pastor Jeff Messer officiating. Mrs. Kinney will be lovingly laid to rest in Dreamland Cemetery beside her childhood sweetheart, Frederick Melvin Kinney, who past before her on July 14, 1979. Mrs. Kinney was born August 7, 1909 in Winfield, Texas to George Washington Garner and Laura Garner. She was married to Frederick Melvin Kinney on December 18, 1926 in Ralls, Texas. She was one of 10 children. She is survived by a sister, Nina Jordan of Azle, Texas, her four children, Sue Ann Henry and Faye Wooldridge of Amarillo, Texas, Laura Hooker of Friendswood, Texas, and Marvin Kinney of Tooele, Utah. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, Leigh Ann Burn, Gene Wooldridge, Paul Compton, Sandra Jenkins, Steve McCune, Mike Kinney, Richard Kinney and Jerry Kinney including a host of great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. The family suggests memorials to be to BSA Hospice. The family will be at 3620 Nebraska, Amarillo, Texas.
