Lonnie Ray Trask

Lonnie Ray Trask, 72, of Canyon, passed away on Sunday, April 13, 2025. Private family services will be held. Lonnie was born on January 13, 1953 in Germany to Leon and Freida (Margwarth) Trask. He married Nancy Thomas on August 7, 1993, and they were married for 31 years before he preceded her in death. Lonnie was a devout Christian and a member of Trinity Fellowship Church. He was a huge fan of NASCAR and dirt track racing and a faithful supporter of the Dallas Cowboys. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Larry Trask. Survivors include his wife, Nancy Trask; three children, Corey Sanders and wife, Brandi, Christy Sanders, and Jared Trask; five grandchildren, Sierra, Kaylynn, and Thomas Sanders, Lillie Sanders, and Olivia Serzy; brother, Garry Trask; sister, Anita Neff; and several nieces and nephews.
