Lloyd Reyher

December 31, 1969 — November 11, 2010

Services will be 2:00 P.M. Monday, November 15 at the First Baptist Church with Rev. Travis LaDuke, retired Baptist minister, officiating. Interment will be at Dreamland Cemetery. Lloyd R. Reyher was born July 6, 1930 in Wiley, Colorado to Robert and Ruth Reyher. He graduated from Wiley High School in 1948 and then attended Southwestern State College in Weatherford, Oklahoma. On May 17, 1953 he married Joyce M. Orr at Wiley. He served two years in the US Army, and four years as a Master Sergeant with the National Guard. Lloyd was a member of the First Baptist Church of Canyon, Dalhart City Council, and the Dalhart Lions Club. Lloyd was loved deeply by all of his family and friends. He was an avid hunter, fisherman, and all around outdoorsman. Lloyd was an entrepreneur who established donut shops, barbeques, and restaurants across the Midwest. But it was his love for others that will most be remembered. Whether it was an intricately told fishing story, teaching a grandchild to play the harmonica, or just the right piece of advice told at just the right time, he meant so much to so many. Although he will be missed, his love will live in the hearts of all he touched. Survivors include his wife, Joyce Reyher; son, Rick Reyher and wife, Laura; three grandchildren, Grant Reyher and wife, Sabrina, Melissa Reyher White and husband, Andrew, and Bret Reyher; four great grandchildren, Dakota Reyher, Aspen Reyher, Logan White, and Grayson White, all of Canyon; and two brothers, Ron Reyher, of Edmond, OK, and Louie Reyher, of Tell, TX.
