Memorial services will be 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, June 17 at Brooks Chapel with Gemma Reyes, Chaplain at Odyssey Hospice, officiating. Linda Claborn was born April 21, 1948 in Pampa, Texas to Alden and Lula Scott Clark. She was a proud native West Texan. She graduated with a Bachelor"s Degree in Education from West Texas State University. After a brief teaching and coaching career, she became a Sales Representative/Corporate Trainer for Lorillard Tobacco Company. Her professional life took her to the North Carolina and Chicago area. Linda spent most of her time balancing her passion for fitness, music, traveling, and spending time with her daughter and grandson. Linda was drawn to a love for her family"s rich history; including, the Ollie Scott Ranch and her love of all animals. She was a loving daughter, a devoted mother, and a fun Gram! She leaves behind many dear friends and family members who will have her forever in their hearts. Linda was preceded in death by her mother, father, and devoted step-father, Dr. Wendell Cain. Survivors include her daughter, Amy Claborn, of Westminster, CO; grandson, Griffin Cain Orr-Claborn, of Westminster, CO; and many loving cousins. The family suggests that memorials be made to the American Cancer Society, 3915 Bell St., Amarillo, TX 79109.
