Memorial services will be 2:00 Thursday, March 24 at the First Family Church, 6101 S. Bell St., Amarillo, with Rev. Billy D. Nickell, pastor, officiating. Lin was born March 26, 1952 to Robert and Thelma Kieckhaefer at Scott Air Force Base, Illinois. She received her Bachelor's of Economics degree from UCLA. On July 11, 1987, she married Gerald "Jerry" Rang in Big Bear City, California. They resided in Big Bear for over twenty years before moving to Amarillo, where they've lived the last 8 years. Lin was a member of the First Family Church. She loved to read, especially inspirational books. She was a giver and was always willing to help others. She had a servant's heart. Lin was a loving wife, daughter, and friend that will be dearly missed. Survivors include her husband, Jerry Rang, of Amarillo; father, Robert Kieckhaefer, of Amarillo; mother, Thelma Kieckhaefer, of Wilmington, N.C.; a sister, Mary Ann Stankovsky, of Houston; a brother, Bill Kieckhaefer, of Laguna Nigel, CA; and three nephews and a niece. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Faith City Mission, P.O. Box 870, Amarillo, TX 79105.
