Lee V. Coile, 79, of Tulia, passed away on Sunday, November 22, 2020. Graveside services will be at 2:00 P.M. on Wednesday, November 25, 2020 at Rose Hill Cemetery in Tulia with Rick Bloodworth, minister of Happy Church of Christ, officiating.

L.V. was born on October 9, 1941 in Fannin County, Texas to Truly V. and Leona Mae (Gee) Coile. He graduated from Happy High School in 1960 and loved farming. He married Cathy Butler in Tulia on January 7, 1967 and was a strong member and past deacon of the Happy Church of Christ for many years.

L.V. was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Shirley Herring. Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Cathy Coile, of the home; four children, Wes Coile and wife, Vicky and their children, Kaitlyn and Emily of Happy, Guy Coile and wife, Janet and their children, Jessica, Sarah, and Bethany of Happy, Mike Coile and wife, Kimber and their children, Arik, Lance, and Taylor of Happy, and Michelle Coile McDowell and husband, Toby and their children, Preston, Corbin, and Caleb of Tulia; and one sister, Marilyn Coile Johnson and husband, Clyde of Happy.

The family suggests memorials be to Amarillo Rescue Shelter, 12500 FM 1541, Amarillo, Texas79118 or to the Happy Volunteer Fire Department, PO Box 216, Happy, Texas 79042.

The family encourages friends to join them in the fellowship hall of the Happy Church of Christ following the graveside service.
