Memorial services will be at 4:00 P.M. on Saturday, October 2, 2010 at Brooks Chapel in Canyon, Texas with the Rev. Don Stribling, pastor of First Presbyterian Church, Jerseyville, Illinois, officiating. Kevin Julius Wilcox was born on June 8, 1955 to William Julius and Mary Theresa Curran Wilcox. He grew up in Penndel, Pennsylvania, graduating from Bishop Egan High School. He attended St. Francis College and Drexel University. He worked many years for Central Truck Parts in Cocoa, Florida, before moving to Canyon. He was assistant service manager at Jack Sisemore Traveland in Amarillo. He was a member of Moose Lodge 1717 of Cocoa, Florida and was made an honorary member of the Fleet Reserve Association. He enjoyed coin collecting, football and NASCAR. Preceding him in death were his parents and a brother, John Worthington. Survivors include his wife, Sheri Gebhart of Canyon; two brothers, Henry Wilcox and wife Lois of Penndel, Pennsylvania, and William Wilcox and wife Dorothy of Morrisville, Pennsylvania; a sister, Mary Moeller of Penndel, Pennsylvania; sister-in-law, Susan Worthington of Fairless Hills, Pennsylvania; a son, Kevin J. Wilcox, Jr. of Somers Point, New Jersey; two grandsons, Kevin J. Wilcox, III of Harvest, Alabama and Anthony Angel Wilcox of Somers Point, New Jersey.
