Kent Elwin Anderson

Kent Elwin Anderson was born 24 January 1945 to C. Victor Anderson and Lillie R. Schofield in Rexburg, Idaho. He passed away at the age of 79 on 4 March 2024 in Amarillo, Texas surrounded by family.
He and his wife Charlet Ann Price settled in the Pacific Northwest where they raised their 8 children. Wendi (Larry) Graves; Ryan (Rhonda) Anderson; Heather (Farrell) James; Dedra (Ken) Cheney; Garen (Andrea) Anderson; Adam (Casandra) Anderson; Gina (Joseph) Alsop; and Kyle Anderson. Kent and Charlet were married for 41 years before her passing in 2010.
Kent was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He was dedicated to Temple service and genealogy. He had a strong testimony of our Savior, Jesus Christ and also of our Eternal Father in Heaven. He took many opportunities to share the gospel with friends and even strangers he came in contact with. He served a mission for his church on Temple Square in Salt Lake City, Utah, researching genealogy and doing family history.
Kent is preceded in death by his parents, his wife Charlet, and 2 grandsons Robert and Jacob. He is survived by his 8 children, 29 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren with at least 1 on the way and his 4 siblings.
He is greatly loved and will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
