Kenneth Brock

Kenneth Brock, 89, of Canyon, passed away on Monday, January 29, 2024. Memorial services will be at 1:00 P.M. on Saturday, February 17, 2024 at St. Paul Lutheran Church with Brian Shane officiating.
Kenneth was born on June 24, 1934 in Hereford, TX to Pearl and Arthur Brock.

He married Cora Lee Hopson and they returned to Canyon from Altus, Oklahoma in 1978. Kenneth worked for many years at Ben E. Keith selling produce to stores and restaurants.

Kenneth's favorite pastime was fishing, especially when he visited his favorite place, the Rocky Mountains. He also enjoyed watching horse racing. Kenneth loved working with cattle on the farm, and in his later years, he went out daily just to sit and observe them, break the ice for them, or feed them some cake. Each year, he prepared the garden for Cora Lee, and while she gardened, he enjoyed tending to the yardwork. He took great pleasure in sitting by a roaring fire to keep him warm and watching western movies nightly.

Kenneth was preceded in death by his wife, Cora Lee Brock, on January 19, 2021 and a son, Kirk Brock, on November 27, 2022.

Survivors include his son, Keith Brock of Weatherford, TX; his four grandchildren, Ellen, Keaton, Allyson, and Kolton Brock; and a brother, Richard Brock.
