Keith Rickenbrode

Memorial services will be at 4:00 P.M. on Wednesday, January 30, 2013 at Brooks Chapel with Rev. Donna Johnston, pastoral care minister, and Rev. Rick Enns, First United Methodist Church, officiating. Keith Rickenbrode was born on September 23, 1931 in Avalon, Missouri to Holton and Helen Canning Rickenbrode. He attended Park College in Missouri and then joined the U.S. Coast Guard. Upon returning, he received his Bachelor of Science in Agriculture Economics from the University of Missouri in Columbia. After college, he became a blockman for John Deere. He continued working most of his life in the farm implement business. Upon turning 50, he formed his own business, Kansas Jack-Blowtherm. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Canyon. Survivors include his wife, C.J. Rickenbrode, of the home; a daughter, Lori Greenhaw, of Rhome, TX; three sons, Ron Rickenbrode and wife, Kim, of Tampa, FL, Steven Helm and wife, Kim, of Owassa, OK, and Dave Helm, of Tulsa, OK; seven grandchildren; a brother, Gary H. Rickenbrode and wife, Kenna Mae, of McEwen, TN; a niece, Carie Turner; and a nephew, Ken Rickenbrode.
