Kathy Lester

Services will be at 2:00 P.M. on Friday, October 21, 2005 at Brooks Chapel with Rev. David Crump, pastor of Calvary Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Dreamland Cemetery. Kathy Lester was born on June 24, 1949 in Taft, California to Harold and Willie Gipson Lindsey. She graduated from Canyon High School and married James Lester in Amarillo in 1995. She was very active in her church and loved to garden. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers. Survivors include her husband, James Lester, of Canyon; son, Wes Glenn, of Cape Coral, Florida; daughter, Bridgett Potter, of Eureka, CA; stepson, James A. Lester, of Mobeetie; stepdaughter, Carol Miller, of Ogallala, Nebraska; twelve grandchildren, including Cody Glenn, of the home; and her stepmother, Betty Lindsey, of Canyon. The family suggests memorials be to a favorite charity.
