Karl Cantrell

Memorial services will be at 10:00 A.M. on Tuesday, December 29, 2015 at First Family Church in Amarillo with Rev. Billy D. Nickell, pastor, officiating. Rev. Karl Ray Cantrell was born on October 10, 1950 in Valles Mines, Missouri. He married Vanissa Allen on October 17, 1992 in Amarillo. He was in car sales before becoming an Assembly of God minister for the last fifteen years. He was a member of First Family Church in Amarillo. Karl loved reading his Bible and teaching the word of God. He also enjoyed deer hunting and telling and hearing good jokes. Survivors include his wife, Vanissa Cantrell; two sons, Chad Allen and wife, Tiffany and Jesse Sorenson and wife, Kristin; three grandchildren, Conner Allen, Tristan Allen, and Kodi Jo Sorenson; two brothers, Robert Cantrell and Jackie Cantrell; and four sisters, Kaye York, Ruth Merritt, Libby York Cleveland, and Bonnie Enty. The family suggests memorials be to the Family First Assembly of God Church, 6101 Bell St., Amarillo, TX 79109.
