Karen Lue Johnson, 76, of Canyon passed away on Monday, June 26, 2023.
Services will be 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, June 28, 2023 at Brooks Chapel with Howard Morris officiating. Graveside services will follow at 2:00 P.M. at Highland Park Cemetery in Borger.
Karen was born on January 27, 1947 in Memphis, Texas to Austin and Juanita (Scott) Williams. She attended Borger High School. Karen worked as a load controller at Tyson Foods for 37 years. She moved to Canyon in 2018.
Karen enjoyed trips to the mountains and spending time with her grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Sharen Talbert of Guymon; sister, Judy Williams; and twin sisters, Janita and Danita Williams.
Survivors include her daughters, Renee Brummett and husband, Larry, Tammy Thomas; son, Dave Smith and wife, Debbie; grandchildren, Misty Thomas, Ashley Thomas, Kim Skaggs, Leslie Beilue, Scott Smith, Christopher Smith, Jeremy Smith, Jennifer Smith; and twenty great grandchildren.
The family wishes to thank Dr. Praveen Tumula MD with Texas Oncology, 4th floor BSA nurses, Mari and Tweet, and BSA Hospice of the Southwest for taking such great care of Karen.
