June Evelyn Richardson Burkhard, age 93, died December 7, 2020, at her home.
She was born in York, Nebraska on September 9, 1927. She lived on her father's farm in Benedict, Nebraska until she married Eldred Burkhard on July 7, 1946. She and her husband of 68 years lived in Lincoln, Nebraska, Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, Alliance, Ohio, before moving to Fort Worth, Texas in 1953, and finally Amarillo, Texas in 2010.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Emmett and Enid (Kreis) Richardson; her brother, Harry Richardson; her sister, Virginia Dille; and her husband, Eldred Burkhard.
Survivors include her sons and their wives, Byron and Ann Burkhard of Amarillo, Texas and Kevin and Laura Burkhard of Albuquerque, New Mexico; grandsons and their wives, Jonathan and Julia Burkhard of Amarillo, Texas and Travis Burkhard and Jocie Colella of Albuquerque, New Mexico; granddaughters and their husbands Sara and Joe Garcia of Amarillo, TX and Rachel and Bodie Trnka of Jordan, Minnesota; and great grandchildren, Katherine Burkhard, Ryan Burkhard, and Emily Burkhard.
