Memorial services will be 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, July 27 at St. Stephen United Methodist Church East Campus with Rev. Stan Cosby, pastor, officiating. The family will receive friends on Monday, July 25, 2011 at 6309 Roadrunner Court, Amarillo, TX 79119 from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Mrs. Roming will not be available for viewing. After a courageous battle with cancer, Judy passed on July 22, 2011 in Amarillo. Julia Ann "Judy" Roming was born September 23, 1941 in Clovis, New Mexico to Gordon and Ada Hogan Murrah. She was a Muleshoe High School graduate. In 1958, she married Ben David Roming at Clovis, New Mexico. He preceded her in death in 1998. Judy was raised on a farm, married a farmer, and took an active role in the farming operation. She also took pride in being a mother and grandmother. She retired from farming in 2004 to move to Amarillo to be closer to family. Judy was also preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Myke Murrah. Survivors include three daughters, Danita Jo Low and husband, Brant, of Amarillo, Benetta Ann Herndon and husband, Hal, of Panhandle, Keva Gayle Coffman and husband, Hardy, of Canyon; seven grandchildren, Hubbal, Gecovey, Hunter, Keevan, and Thea Coffman, Brandon and Gwenda Low; two great grandchildren, Baylee and Blane Low; brother, Gary Murrah, of Clovis, NM; sister, Tana Murrah, of Fresno, CA; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and special neighbors and friends.
