Juanita Ziegler

Services will be at 10:00 A.M. on Saturday, January 9, 2010 at Brooks Chapel with Dr. G. A. Roach officiating. Burial will be in Dreamland Cemetery. Juanita Ziegler was born on May 19, 1918 in Hill County, Texas. She graduated from Happy High School and moved to Canyon in 1937. She attended West Texas State Teachers College and worked at M.E. Moses in Canyon. She had been a long time school bus driver for CISD and worked in the parts department at Sid Stout Ford. Mrs. Ziegler, also known as 'Tater', moved to McKinney from Canyon in 2004. She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, and her husband, R.T. 'Dick' Ziegler. Survivors include her son, Rick Ziegler, of McKinney; and a brother, Dick Barrett, of Canyon.
