Jon Wesley 'Wes' Durr

Jon Wesley 'Wes' Durr, 30, of Dallas (formerly of Amarillo), passed away on Thursday, December 16, 2021. Celebration services will be held by the family on Monday, December 27, 2021 at 2:00 P.M. at Pinnacle Community Church in Amarillo.
Wes was born on March 22, 1991 in Amarillo, Texas. He attended St. Andrews Episcopal School in Amarillo, and when he moved to Florence, AL, he attended River Hill School. He returned home to Amarillo and graduated from Randall High School in 2009.
Wes was a devoted missionary for the Lord. His love and bold faith could never be separated from who he was, and as he loved on people, the Lord was a part of every conversation. He never said 'No' to the Lord when presented with an opportunity to witness or serve. Lawndale Baptist Church in Greensboro was his solid foundation. Wes loved his family, music, and the outdoors, which he enjoyed sharing with his family. He was a wonderful friend, son, and brother and was always there for anyone in need.
Wes is survived by a huge tribe of family and friends who loved him dearly. He will be greatly missed by his parents, Tracey Buck and Dickey and Cindy Durr, and all his brothers and sisters.
The family suggests memorials be to U Turn for Christ, 683 County Road 103, Florence, Colorado 81266.
