Jo Richardson

Services will be 1:00 P.M. Thursday, February 11 at the Summit with Kenny Price, pastor, officiating. Interment will be at Dreamland Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, February 10 from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at Brooks Chapel. Jo Elyn Richardson was born March 13, 1957 in Canyon to C.N. ""Blackie""and Jean Tippery. Jo Elyn was a Canyon High School graduate, and a member of the Summit Church of Canyon. She married Joel Richardson on March 12, 1994 in Canyon. For 13 years she worked as the Office Manager for Dr. Charles Osborn, D.D.S. in Amarillo. Jo Elyn was a devoted loving mother. She kept life on the lighter side for those she was around. She was preceded in death by her parents. Survivors include her husband, Joel, of the home; son, Justin Ziegler, of Houston; sisters, Sally Mosier, of Amarillo, and Jeannita Higginbotham and husband, Rob, of Canyon; a brother-in-law, Phil Mosier, of Canyon; life long friend, Terri Heaster, of Amarillo; and numerous nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials to Odyssey Healthcare, 6900 I-40 West, Suite 1500, Amarillo, TX 79106.
