Jo Ann Eudy, 66, of Amarillo, passed away on Thursday, February 12, 2026. Memorial services will be at 10:00 A.M. on Saturday, February 21, 2026, at the First Christian Church of Canyon with Rev. Paula Brooks officiating.
Jo Ann was born on July 15, 1959, to Don Ray and Rhe (Cates) Veigel. She lost her father in an auto accident a few months later. Jo Ann and her mother lived in several places before her mother remarried, and she was raised by her mother and stepfather. They settled in St Louis, MO where she attended school and graduated high school. She then attended Abilene Christian University.
Jo Ann married and had two beautiful children, Alisha and Craig. In 1992, she married John Eudy and they began their lives together with her children and John’s son, Brennan. The five of them were part of their wedding in the Chapel at WTAMU. Jo Ann completed her degree in nursing at WTAMU with honors and practiced as a registered nurse for many years. She retired from Region 16 Education Service Center in 2020. During their time together, she and John traveled and vacationed in many fascinating locations and eventually built a cabin together in Ute Park, NM. Along the way they have added three wonderful grandchildren, Dylan, Isael, and Creighton, two additional children by marriage, Noel and Eily, and a close family friend, Cory.
Jo Ann was a member of Soroptimist International and a longtime member of First Christian Church of Canyon. Her favorite things in life were giving of herself to help others. She was loved by so many people and will be missed by anyone who knew her.
Jo Ann is also preceded in death by her mother and stepfather, Rhe and Johny Northcutt.
Jo Ann would ask in lieu of flowers that people commit an act of kindness in her memory.
