Jimmie Glover

Graveside services will be 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, December 3, 2013 at Salisbury National Cemetery in Salisbury, North Carolina. Mr. Glover retired from the U.S. Army in 1969. He served in the occupation of Japan in 1946-1947; the Korean War 1950-1952; and the Vietnam War 1967-1969. He received 17 awards and decorations during his 20 years of service. He attended grade school in Salisbury, NC; junior and senior high school in Washington, D.C.; Ohio State University in Columbus; University of Virginia in Charlottesville, VA; and Ohio University in Athens, OH. Survivors include a sister, Dollie Anne Bell, of Canyon; and numerous nieces and nephews in the Canyon vicinity.
