Jim Robinson

Memorial services will be 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, March 30 at the University Church of Christ with David Lough, minister, and Samuel Roberson, officiating. Jim was born May 27, 1931 in Van Nuys, California to William and Margaret Kayler Robinson. He graduated from Coachella Valley High School in 1949. Jim served in the U.S. Air Force. On September 2, 1961, he married Anita Jean Hand in Indio, California. Jim worked for Carr & Carr, Inc. for 32 years. He spent 18 years of retirement in Cloudcroft, New Mexico before moving to Canyon in 2011. He was an elder in the Cloudcroft Church of Christ. He enjoyed water skiing and vacationing with his family. He was preceded in death by his parents; a nephew, Gregg Zimmerman; and a brother-in-law, Jerry Zimmerman. Survivors include his wife, Anita; two daughters, Stacey Roberson and husband, Samuel, DeeDee Lynch and husband, Kyle; three granddaughters, Samantha Crowl and husband, Andy, Savannah Roberson, Sydney Roberson; three grandsons, Tyler Lynch, Sawyer Roberson, Matthew Lynch; a great granddaughter, Emery Crowl; and a sister, Ann Zimmerman.
