Jessie Wilcox

Jessie C. Wilcox, 33, of Happy, died Wednesday, March 26, 2003 in Happy. Graveside Services will be at 11:00 AM on Saturday, March 29, 2003, Memory Gardens Cemetery with Brother Bobby Jordan officiating. Jessie was born on November 26, 1969 in Amarillo to L. D. and Claudene Wilcox. He graduated from Caprock High School in 1988 and married the love of his life, Mary Samson, on December 18, 1993 in West Layden, New York. He is a veteran of the U. S. Army serving in the 2nd 87th Infantry the 10th Mountain Division, at Fort Drum, NY. He was called home to be with the Lord on March 26, 2003. He was preceded in death by one sister, Debbie Hilleary, in 1994. Survivors include his wife, Mary, of the home; three daughters, Kimberlynn, Kayleigh, and Kambree, of the home; his mother, Claudene Mayhan, and husband, Robert, of Happy; his father, L. D. Wilcox, and wife, Carol, of Newalla, OK; one sister, Linda James, and husband, Rusty, of Amarillo; one brother, Danny Wilcox, and wife, Misa, of Happy; his grandmother, Vera Wilcox, of Amarillo; one step-brother, Darryl Mayhan, of Happy; one step-sister, Sherri Edmonson, of Newalla, OK; and numerous nieces, nephews, and inlaws. The family suggests memorials be to the American Leukemia Society or to the Coffee Memorial Blood Center.
