Jessie adored her family and friends. Her most cherished moments were ones spent with those she loved. She and Gene loved spending countless hours shooting trap at the Amarillo Gun club, where many of her lifelong relationships were formed. She actually became quite accomplished as they traveled together to shooting competitions all across the region, state and country. Jessie and Gene also enjoyed bird hunting together and raised several wonderful hunting dogs over the years. She became a huge fan of baseball following the Texas Rangers every night during the summer and more recently the Amarillo Sod Poodles. Jessie had a deep love for Jesus, First Baptist Church, Amarillo and her church family there. She enjoyed their congregational worship, even through television up to the day before she passed. She developed many deep relationships within her Sunday school class at FBC and loved the fellowship and camaraderie. She was blessed with friends that loved her as much as she loved them. This much we know, Jessie is at peace with the Father. Jessie, Mom, Gigi, Mema, Gramma, we miss you!
