Jerry Renner

Graveside services will be 10:00 Monday, May 11 at Dreamland Cemetery with Elder Lyman Little, Primitive Baptist Church of Borger, officiating. Jerry Wayne Renner was born November 9, 1943 in Friona to John and Virginia Renner. Jerry moved to Canyon from Friona in 1959. He went to work for the City of Canyon in June 1962 at 19 years old and retired 42 years later in June 2004. He married Harriet Ellen Woods on January 2, 1982. He was preceded in death by his mother, Virginia, father, John, two brothers, Fabin and Donnie, nephew, Johnnie, and his first wife, Nita. He is survived by his wife, Harriet; daughter, Jeania Noggler and husband, Tom, of Canyon; son, Joe Woods and wife, Michelle, of Orange Park, Florida; 5 grandchildren, Shawn, Geoffrey, Gennifer, Krystal, Gharred; 2 great-granddaughters; brother, Clyde, of Friona; niece, Amelia Waldrop and husband, Leon, of Pampa. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Cal Farley's Boys Ranch and Girl's Town, P.O. Box 1890, Amarillo, TX 79174.
