Jeremy Lueb, 50, of Amarillo, passed away on Tuesday, January 21, 2025. Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 A.M. on Tuesday, January 28, 2025 at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church in Amarillo with Fr. John Valdez as celebrant. A vigil will be held at 6:00 P.M. on Monday, January 27, 2025 at Brooks Chapel in Canyon. Private interment will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Jeremy was born on June 21, 1974 in Hereford to Neal and Ann (Homer) Lueb. He was a 1993 graduate of Hereford High School and worked for 20 years at Affiliated Foods. The past (9) years he worked at Shoppa's Material Handling in Amarillo. He was a member of St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church.
Jeremy was a NASCAR fan and enjoyed watching the Texas Rangers with his son, Jacob. He was a great storyteller and was affectionately known for greatly embellishing his stories. His family, especially his nephews, loved his bbq ribs. Lovingly known as Papa Lueb, he will be remembered for being a dad to every friend his son had.
Jeremy is preceded in death by his father, Neal Lueb, grandparents, Martha and Wop Lueb and Martin and Mary Lou Homer, and a son, Tyler Lueb.
Survivors include his son, Jacob Lueb; his mother, Ann Lueb; two brothers, Jason Lueb and wife, Jodi and Justin Lueb and wife, Cheyenne; sister, Julie Lueb; uncle, Tim Homer; aunts, Janie Thomas and husband, Jeff and Christy Crawford and husband Dwayne; and eight nieces and nephews, Jordan, Jadynn, Jakrin, and Jonrin Lueb, Tatum Lueb, and Zach, Connor, and Maddie Suttle.
The family suggests memorials be to Catholic Charities of the Texas Panhandle, PO Box 15127, Amarillo, TX 79105 or to St. Anthony's Endowment, 114 Sunset, Hereford, TX 79045.
